Slovakian Jan Bendik Wins EPT Grand final Main Event for €961,800

Jan_Bendik Wins 2016 EPT Main EventJan Bendik of Slovakia has done a great job by winning the prestigious €5,300 buy in EPT#12 Grand Final Main event at Monte Carlo for an amount €961,800. He is the only player of Slovakia, who won the prestigious European Poker Tour Grand Final Main event.

The player defeated Adrien Allain of France in a close game, who took home a winning share of amount €577,800, being runner up of the event. The event is a great success in 2016 as it was in back years. The event attracted 1,098 players from around the world and Europe but it was Jan Bendik, who stole the show and won the title of the championship.

The final 8 players of the event were Italian Dario Sammartino, French Antoine Saout, Oren Rosen of Israel, Pierre Calamusa of France, Asan Umarov of Kazachstan, and Jimmy Guerrero of France, Adrien Allain and Jan Bendik.



The first man to go from the table was Dario Sammartino of Italy, who finished at eighth position for a total winning share €91,860, whereas just after a couple of hands it was French Antoine Saout who moved to seventh position for a winning amount €128,340.

Oren Rosen of Israel hit the rail and completed at sixth place for a total winning share €170,950. Pierre Calamusa took home €233,800 being fifth position holder of the tournament, and Asan Umarov collected €305,660 being at fourth.

The three handed game included top 3 players named as Jimmy Guerrero, who got an amount €406,850 being third. Guerrero was looking good at the moment against another countryman Adrien Allain, but couldn’t succeed and took and exit to third place.

The final or heads up round was in between Jan Bendik and Adrien Allain. The duo played really well and took some time to decide that who will be the winner of the championship and it was Slovakian Jan Bendik who won the championship title for €961,800.
