Not only leaded the final six in €25,000 High Roller of European poker tour season#13 in Malta, but David Yan wins the prestigious award as well and collected €465,800 as prize money.
The 23 year old is a pro from New Zealand who has done a great job by winning this prestigious high roller championship. This is first time a New Zealander has won a major poker tournament like EPT.
Ramin Hajiyev, a pro poker player from Azerbaijan comes second and pocketed €334,400from the tournament, whereas Oleksii Khoroshenin, the Ukrainian player becomes this position holder for €217,400.
The year 2016 is being a great year for Yan. He has at 16th position in just a few weeks ago €1,000 buy in Eureka Poker tour.
The €25,000 buy in High Roller of European Poker Tour season#13 took place in Malta, which received 46 entries +19 re entries and generated a prize pool of amount €1,592,500.
Spanish Adrian Mateos was at ninth position and was not in final six, who made some good amount of money. By the way Mateos took home €46,180 from the tournament.
UK’s Patrick Leonard didn’t do anything but having booked for eighth position for a total winning share of amount €60,500, while Davidi Kitai of Belgium pocketed €78,050 from the event.
Final table of six players took place with players like Max Silver of UK, Ole Schemion of Germany, Mikita Badziakouski of Belarus and Oleksii Khoroshenin of Ukraine.
The first player who got off from the table was German Ole Schemion, who made €98,740 being sixth position holder.
Mikita Badziakouski of Belarus made a mistake and got busted to fifth position for €127,400, while just after his removal another player from United Kingdom named Max Silver got busted for €164,030.
Oleksii Khoroshenin completed his journey being third for €217,400, and Ramin Hajiyev becomes runner up of this high roller for €334,400.
David Yan was a happy guy after everything went so according to his plan. He said “it feels really great” and I can’t explain in words.
