American poker professional Aaron Massey has won the biggest Mid States Poker Tour event of his life and collected a cash prize of amount $174,658. The prestigious tournament attracted 820 participants from entire world and generated $820,000 as total prize pool, which bested $200,000 Guaranteed, but it was Massey who played great till the end of the day and took the first prize of the event as well as collected the title of the championship.
This is the largest prize win by the US player outside of Las Vegas. The winner defeated a countryman Ron Kruk who got $106,383 as his winning share from the tournament.
Massey was very pleased after winning this great shot and said that this is what I was looking for, since last 12 months. I do quite well in big fields and I love to do well in mid major tournaments.
Top prize winners of the event are as follows:-

2:- Ron Kruk of Osceola, IN took home $106,383, being the runner up of the event.
Third, Fourth and fifth positions of the events were for players named Jason Smith($69,228), Rodger Johnson($47,952) and Chris Blik of Grandville, MI for $34,932.
Sixth, seventh and eighth positions of the Mid states Poker Tour belongs to Richard Bai($26,834), Al Singletary($22,150) and David Berman of Solon, OH for total $18,498.
The first elimination for the final 10 players was of Ryan Lally, just after a couple of hands. He hit the rail to tenth place for an amount $11,354, whereas just after his removal another player named Brian Brenneke took the path to the rail for a winning share of amount $14,847.
Top 81 places/finishers of the tournament got some payment according to their play and ranks. The 81st6 place was for Kou Vang. This is the fifth largest win by American player “Massey” in his poker career.
