Damianos Aslanidis or “damourinio” of Macedonia has won the $215 No Limit Hold’em $5 Million Guranteed, Sunday Million event and collected the first prize of $155,457. He defeated an online poker player of Russia Vladimir Troyanovskiy (“vovtroy”).
Aslanidis already won more than $1 Million of cash prizes playing at various pokerstars hosted tournaments with his total earning till date is around $4 Million. This simply is another hugh achievement for the Macedonian poker player.
It took 12 hours to complete the challenge for the winner against 6,105 players. As mentioned earlier total numbers of entrants to this particular event were 6,105 which generated a prize pool of $1,221,000 out of which top 900 players were paid. Aslanidis topped the field size and collected the first prize of $155,457 as well as took home the title.

The first elimination from the final table was of KRab42 playing with jatekos22 and he placed at 9th position. After few more hands German Pokergot eliminated due to a clash in between him and jatekos22. Ultimately Pökergöt finished for 8th position.
After few more hands two more eliminations took place of players such as øøøøøøø and vovtroy. Øøøøøøø of czeck republic eliminated due to Damianos “damourinio” Aslanidis pushed him to do so and he finished for seventh place of the final table. Then after him Vladimir “vovtroy” Troyanovskiy got busted at sixth position. After a couple more hands in the game TheRocket08 shoved off and took fifth.
The remaining four players were playing for the game title but Vladimir “vovtroy” Troyanovskiy moved in with the next seat .Although sydens made a good come back but not succeeded and finished fourth in the list.
Ultimately the final hand took place in between Vladimir “vovtroy” Troyanovskiy and Damianos “damourinio” Aslanidis but Aslanidis won the hand by having 4♥3♥.
