Dutchman Paul Gresel wins WPT National Brussels for €45,000

The €750 buy in Main event attracted 315 players from all of Europe and UK but it was Gresel who took home the trophy of the championship title and the first prize.

Till now Gresel is the only Dutch player to reach the final table. The runner up of the event was Vasile Sabau, who made €32,000.

Meanwhile third position of the event belongs to Mariusz Golinski, who earned €20,600 from the tournament.

Gresel was very happy and said that it is really very amazing to win tournaments like this. He is a regular guy at world poker tour hosted events and this year he has already won €1,500 Big Stack event at WPT Amsterdam in May.

H then collected €69,020 as prize pool. His live tournament earnings are now more than $160,000.

Final table included players like Anthony Chimkovitch, who was the first player to hit the rail, when final table took place. He warned €9,200 from the game and was booked for sixth position.

Sonay Kehya was also at the final table who busted to fifth position for €11,500, while Daniel Rozenberg was the next player hit the rail just after a couple of hands played for €15,240.

As mentioned earlier first, second and third positions of the tournament belongs to players named as Paul Gresel from nederlands, Vasile Sabau and Mariusz Golinski and they took home €45,000, €32,000 and €20,600 respectively.
