After a tremendous performance by German Dietrich Fast at WPT L.A Poker Classic, another German professional poker player Stefan Schillhabel has won big money at WPT Bay 101 $7,500 Main Event. He tops a big field size of players 753 at World poker tour Bay 101 and collected an amount $1,298,000 as first prize. Schillhabel, defeated an American pro Adam Geyer, in a tough Final table. Geyer took home an amount of $752,800, being runner up.
This is the biggest in Schillhabel’s career and his total earning till date exceeds to $1.7 Million. Besides these, the champion also got an entry to the prestigious WPT Tournament of Champions.

- Third position of the event goes to Bryan Piccioli, with amount $493,350.
- Fourth place belongs to Andjelko Andrejevic, and he made $334,500.
- The fifth and sixth places were for Griffin Paul ($231,310) and Maria Ho($179,930).
The final table of 6 remaining players took place on its scheduled time, which included Schillhabel, Griffin Paul, Maria Ho, Adam Geyer and Bryan Piccioli. But it was Schillhabel, commanded the day with lots of chip counts.
The first elimination from the final table was of an American Maria Ho. She was the first female poker player looking to win this prestigious tournament and wanted to create history in world poker tour but could not be able to apply herself and hit the rail to sixth position, playing against Adam Geyer and #23rd Hand. She collected her winning share of amount ($179,930).
After a few hands it was Griffin Paul, A WPT Champion and 2015 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown winner got busted in a three way clash with Andjelko Andrejevic. Paul made $231,310 from the tournament.
Then Andjelko Andrejevic got eliminated and secured fourth position with total amount of $334,500.
The heads up round played in between Stefan Schillhabel and Adam Geyer. Ultemetely Schillhabel won the championship for almost $1.3 Million, whereas Geyer collected $752,800.
