Richard Lawlor becomes the new champion of prestigious world poker tour’s National Ireland by defeating 260 player and collected €65,000.
The main event of the partypoker WPT® National Ireland being played for four days to decide the winner of the championship and it was Lawyer, who did the job at the end of the game and collected most of the money of prize pool.
The runner up of the event was Alan Kelleher, who received €42,500 as winning share. The final day of the play saw some good players busting from the game and they were like Tony Dunst, A member of the WPT family and Natalia Breviglieri from partypoker. Dunst was out to 14th position, while just after his elimination from the game Natalia Breviglieri got busted to 13th place.
The final table of top six players included a father and a son i.e. Richard Lawlor and David Masters. The son i.e. David got busted to fifth position and made €15,000 from the game.
Other players of the final table were Alan Kelleher, Raymond Masters, Dara O’Kearney and Laurence Ryan.
The first elimination took place when Laurence Ryan loses his momentum at the table and was out from the race of the champion for €12,000. Ryan was booked at sixth place.
Then goes David Masters, the son of the winner Lawlor for €15,000 and finished his journey to fifth place, Dara O’Kearney was another player who made €20,000 from the game and busted to fouth place.
Third position of this WPT national Ireland was for Raymond Masters, who collected €27,500.
While the heads up was among Richard Lawlor, and Alan Kelleher. Lawlor had the lead with 5.66 million in chips to Kelleher’s 2.14 million and at the end after many hands it was Richard Lawlor, who won the championship title and pocketed €65,000, whereas Kelleher made €42,500 from the tournament.
