Ron “Grumpy” Ware, a pro poker player has won the event#21 of World Series of poker 2017. The event was $1,500 buy-in 8 Game mix, for which the winner pocketed a sum total of amount $145,577 at Rio Convention Center in Las Vegas. This is his first ever gold bracelet win for Grumpy.
Michael Ross comes second in this 8 max game and he took home a good total of amount $89,948 from the tournament.
Meanwhile third position of this belongs to pro poker player named Fabrice Soulier, who pocketed $58,968 from the tournament. Fabrice Soulier has already won $10,000 H.O.R.S.E. title in back in 2011. He finished at fourth place in Event #9 of $10,000 Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship.
This particular win here at WSOP is the largest career win for the winner i.e. Ron “Grumpy” Ware. His last biggest cash win was of $107,950 for 75th-place finish in the 2005 WSOP Main Event.
Ware has also won a gold ring at World Series of poker circuit. He won that gold ring back in 2009-10 at Harvey’s Lake Tahoe series and the game was Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better.
The event $1,500 8-Game Mix received 472 entries and generated a total prize pool of amount $637,200. Top 71 position holders of the game were paid out.
