Lucas Blanco Oliver, a pro poker from Spain has won the prestigious world poker tour UK Devilfish tournament and collected £250,000 as winning share.
The £1 million guarantee event took place at Dusk Till Dawn, Nottingham, which attracted 204 players, but it was Spanish Lucas Blanco Oliver who topped the field and won the championship title.
Paul-Francois Tedeschi becomes the runner up of this title and collected his winning share of amount £150,000. The final table of the championship took place after most of the players were eliminated with their own reasons.
The final table of 9 players included players such as Barny Boatman, wh eliminated to sixth place, John Cynn, who eliminated to seventh place for £50,000, and Ben Heath, who couldn’t be able to climb more than third place for £105,000.
Some notable players like Irish Steve O’Dwyer, , Dara O’Kearney, Anton Wigg, Sam Trickett and former Wimbledon champion Boris Becker couldn’t made themselves to the money list and were out from the game without making any money.
The first player who hit the rail was Ian Simpson, who made £30,000 from the game and finished at ninth place.
Manig Loeser was the next man to hit the rail for £40,000. He completed his journey being at eighth place. Just after his removal from the game another Uk player John Cynn was out from the game with total winning money of amount £50,000.
Sixth and fifth positions were for Barny Boatman and Peter Roche. They collected £60,000 and £70,000 respectively.
