Global poker League has announced their Draft list for the year 2016. As, the GPL is around the corner and it would take place on February 25, 2016 at SLS Hotel in Beverley Hills area, the GPL has released the list of top 203 poker players of the world, who will fight against each other being in 12 different teams.
CEO of Mediarex Alex Dreyfus said that when these players unite and play as a team, they will definitely have an impact on the growth of poker, we are very happy and trying our level best to make this event great. The prestigious tournament will be broadcasted on twitch.tv, and it is expected to be a very exciting event in the history of poker.
People has been waiting for this tournament since long but now comes the time on February 25, 2016, when they would be able to see great fights taking place in between world’s best professional poker players.
Each GPL team will have five players out of which three will be drafted during the league from top 1000 Global Poker Index players.
The top 203 players of GPL Draft list does not includes players like Daniel Negreanu of Canada and ( World#1 in All time money list), and Phil Hellmuth (many WSOP Title winner) just because they will be hosting the Draft Day together.
Antonio Esfandiari (World#2 in the list of All Time Money and more than $26 Million of earning) is joining the team with other international poker pros such as Jonathan Duhamel ($17,592,802), Jason Mercier of America and all time money ($16,356,296), Kevin MacPhee (WSOP 2015 winner), Brian rast of USA (total earning $16,313,290) and Vanessa Selbst of United Sates.
Anthony Zinno (USA $5,337,383) German Fedor Holz ($7,549,491), Canadian Sam Greenwood, Italian Mustapha Kanit ($5,497,875), German Dominik Nitsche and Guy Taylor of England ($136,769) and Luis Ferreira of Brazil ($456,789).
This is going to be a hugh tournament for sure and it is expected to attract millions of poker viewers over the broadcasting channel.
All 203 players belong from 33 different countries and have a collective winning of a hugh and enormous $562,834,964.
