WPT has done a licensing agreement with India’s Largest Poker brand i.e. Adda52. This agreement gives Add52 an edge and rights to either distribute select season of world poker tour television library, could create WPT merchandise or can grab sponsorship with local brands.
The agreement will provide Adda52 to qualify players from India for selected world poker tour’s event in entire world.
Adda52 is the largest poker brand in India and founded back in 2011. The brand has 800,000 registered users and hosted its first ever 10 Million INR Guaranteed prize tournament in India before a while ago.
Anuj Gupta, the founder and creator of Adda52 was very happy and excited about the deal and said that “It is a very crucial time for all Indian poker players, who love to play poker but are currently not in the move”.
Now more and more players will come and play real money poker games just to qualify for the world poker tour’s next level events. It will definitely do well for Indian players looking to play poker, Gupta said in an interview.
Meanwhile the founder and CEO of WPT Adam Pliska, said that we are proud to be associated with Adda52, India’s largest poker platform. It will be good for us and for India (the growing market).A country of billions will attract millions of poker players because of WPT experience.
