WSOP reveals dates of 2017 poker festival, from May 30 to July 17World Series of poker announced 2017 dates of tournament. The world’s largest and most popular poker festival will start from May 30, 2017 and will conclude on July 17, 2017.

The 48th world series of poker will take place at Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

A very Well known poker event of the series i.e. $565 buy-in re-entry No-Limit Hold’em Colossus III event will take place from June 2, 3 and 4, meanwhile the Main event of the tournament will be played from July 31 and it will conclude on July 17.

The format of Colossus will allow players to re-enter (re-entry) in the tournament if they fail to move forward in their initial play.

The event has been very popular among players. The Colossus I and II attracted 43,987 entries in its first two seasons and it is expected that the third season of this particular event will receive a high number of entrants.

The 2017 festival will also include events like Millionaire Maker, Little One for ONE DROP, Monster Stack Seniors and Ladies Championship.


The main event of the 48th WSOP will be of a $10,000 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em and it would start on July 8 to July 17, 2017.

Three starting flights would be held among July 8-July 17 and the dates are July 8, July 9; and Monday, July 10.

The first event of the 48th world series of poker will be of a $565 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em and it would be for casino employees. The two day tournament will be a single single-entry event.

An event for senior players of age over 50 years of $1,000 buy-in No Limit Hold’em will take place on June 16, 2017. This would also be a single-entry event.

The buy-in of the WSOP 2017 starts from just $75. 47th WSOP tournament attracted 107,833 entrants for total 69 events and generated a whooping $221 million as total prize pool.
